Welcome to 2H!  My name is Andraya Healey and I am so excited to have your child in my class this year!  I grew up in Mechanicsburg and am a proud graduate of MASD.  I am especially proud to be teaching at Shepherdstown because I went here for my elementary schooling just like your child! I received my Bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University with dual certification in Early Childhood and Special Education in May 2016.  I am currently taking graduate courses towards my Master's degree in Literacy with a Reading Specialist certificate at Penn State.  I enjoy spending my summers with my family and friends, playing volleyball, reading new books, hiking, and going to the beach!  I also enjoy spending time with my dog named Baxter.  He is a beagle/bulldog mix and is super friendly and playful.  

Being a Mechanicsburg graduate, I hope to instill a love for learning in your child, just as the district has done for me!
