Hello, my name is Jason Petrello and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Shepherdstown Elementary. This will be my ninth year as a full-time teacher.  

I graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Elementary Education and received my Master's in Reading from Wilkes University. Personally, I find teaching a rewarding career and want to have a positive impact on students to help them become lifelong learners.  I have experience working with kids as a coach, tutor, and camp counselor too. 

My wife, Caitlin, and I met at Shippensburg and we have a pet cat named Dawson.  I enjoy playing guitar, reading nonfiction, running, and listening to podcasts and vinyl records.
