Hi! I am Mrs. Patchett and I will be your third grade teacher this year. I cannot wait to meet you and to start our school year together. I absolutely love teaching…and YOU are the #1 reason why! I love watching students grow and discover more about who they are as learners, both in school and out. So, get ready for a year full of fun, learning, and lots of exploring. I’m excited to see all that this year has in store for us!

Our classroom is Room 204 and is on the second floor of Shepherdstown. My favorite part about our classroom is actually YOU, but our view is pretty amazing too.

As we approach the start of the school year, here are some important dates to keep in mind:
Wednesday, August 21st
Classroom Visitation 3:00 PM-4:00 PM

Monday, August 26th - Tuesday, August 27th (see staggered start schedule)
First Day of School for Students

Thursday, September 5th
Back to School Night 6:00 PM-7:30 PM (parents only)

Classroom Supplies
The District will provide most classroom supplies to begin the year including pencils, crayons, colored pencils, pencil box, and even headphones. However, the following supplies will be needed:
• Labeled water bottle (daily)
• Backpack

In addition, if you would like to donate extra classroom supplies for the year, we are usually in need of packs of sharpened #2 pencils (I find that Ticonderoga is the best brand for pencils), black dry erase markers, and tissues.
