Mrs. Thrush’s 1st graders are diving into their 2nd math unit! Students are tossing goldfish into a fishbowl and fishpond to represent math number sentences. 🐟✨
Combining math and fun, these little mathematicians are swimming through addition like pros! 🐡📚

Our 2nd grade students enjoyed a magical morning celebrating the completion our first CKLA Folklore and Fairy Tale Unit. From storybook characters to delicious treats, the rooms were filled with pancakes, laughter and so much fun!📚

🚌 SAFETY ALWAYS // Our Wildcats at Shepherdstown Elementary School recently took part in school bus safety lessons. They practiced how to safely enter and exit the bus, learned the importance of safe behavior while riding, and more—all with the end goal of helping keep everyone safe on the road.
A big thanks to our transportation team for making sure our students start the year with the knowledge to ride safely. And special shoutout to School Bus Driver Extraordinaire Karen Hockenberry for leading our Wildcats in these safety lessons. 💛
