This week, our Wildcats are coming together to help others by collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items for families in need. Let’s show how generous our school community can be! 💛💙
Our school-wide goal is 200 canned goods. If we reach it, there just might be a very special turkey costume surprise right before Thanksgiving! 👀🦃
Donations can be dropped off at the table in the main lobby. Every can counts toward helping others and unlocking our Thanksgiving surprise!
Let’s do this, Wildcats! 💪🦃

Miss Cerio’s class had an amazing day exploring Tiny Town in Lancaster! From dressing up and taking on different community roles to discovering how a town works, our Wildcats learned through play and imagination. 💛💙

📚Shep Reading Corner - Every month, we'll feature a reading recommendation straight from our Shepherdstown Library! This month's book is "The Day the Books Disappeared" by Joanna Ho and Caroline Kusin Pritchard.
The story follows a young boy named Arnold who learns a valuable lesson about empathy, acceptance, and the importance of diverse perspectives. Enjoy!

❤️🤍💙 Our students are busy preparing something special for our Veterans Day Community Meeting next week! We look forward to honoring our veterans —stay tuned for more photos!

📚 Our third graders in Mr. DeCamilla’s class are diving into nonfiction reading about amphibians!
They’re working with partners to “Find the Fib” — deciding what’s 🟢 true and what’s 🔴 false using text evidence to back it up.
Way to go, readers! 💪✨

Our Wildcats are embracing it, one shirt — and one smile — at a time. 💙💛

This week we celebrate our amazing school psychologist, Ms. Tracy Watkins-Harper!
Ms. Watkins-Harper supports our Wildcats each day with care, compassion, and expertise. 🌟
Thank you, Ms. Watkins-Harper, for all you do! 💙🐾

Mrs. Goldsborough’s and Mrs. Beard’s 2nd graders wrapped up their CKLA unit on The Birthplace of Democracy – Ancient Greece with a celebration on Friday! Students took part in a Mini Olympics, sampled Greek foods, and even met a Spartan visitor!
What an exciting way to bring history to life and celebrate all their learning! 🏅🍇⚔️💙

Our Wildcats are teaming up to show the Wildcat Way all around the school! For every 100 Wildcat Way tickets earned, we move a space on the Candyland board in the lobby.
Our schoolwide goal: 2,000 tickets!
If we reach it, we’ll celebrate together with a Game Day on Tuesday, November 25! 🕹️🎯♟️

Our Wildcats had a fantastic time last Friday celebrating the season with pumpkins, laughter, and fun classroom activities! 🏫🎉 A huge thank you to our teachers and families for helping make the fall parties so special! Check out some highlights!
